I had no idea that this series would land right in the middle of no man's land when it came to spice, but it doesn't fit in either sweet and wholesome or spicy hockey genres because of it. 

I wrote what I like to read. Books that talk about real issues - including intimacy - that are steamy with loads of tension without being open door or spicy. Oh, also, they have some swearing but no F-words or diety in vain because God is important to me.

Ooh, plus, book one was my very first romcom, and readers regularly say it's not quite as good as the rest of the series. LOL!

Turns out, that's hard to market. Yay, me!!

But, the readers who find this series, absolutely adore it. The books get WAY better as they go.
